EHA signs European Renewable Grid Initiative.
EHA is now a signatory to the European Renewable Grid Initiative. In October 2011, the European Commission put forward a draft law making it easier to build and finance cross-border power lines, which are essential to making Europe’s energy system greener. The coalition of grid operators and civil society organisations supports Europe’s ambition to boost renewable electricity and cut carbon emissions. The joint declaration aims to strengthen the coalition of stakeholders supporting grid expansion to integrate renewables and raise public awareness of this need.

Scandinavia’s  pioneering efforts in the field of hydrogen  were again demonstrated by the opening of a hydrogen refuelling station in Hynor Lillestrom  recently. This is the fifth hydrogen refuelling station in the Greater Oslo Area, four of which are car-related stations, while all five stations are operating at 700 bar pressure.
