At the LA Motorshow on November 19, 2014 Volkswagen launched its fuel cell research vehicle, the Golf SportWagen HyMotion featuring four hydrogen tanks, which can be filled in under five minutes. Using a low-temperature fuel cell stack, the Golf HyMotion converts hydrogen gas into electricity to power ab electric motor, the same as  battery-electric e-Golf allowing to hit 62 MPH in 10 seconds.
