The KnowHY project is going to be presented in HANNOVER MESSE 2015 within the technical forum presentations.
KnowHy is a European project that will provide to the widest possible audience of active technicians a sustainable and replicable training courses. The courses will provide specific training modules and practical activities to facilitate the deployment of the technology that is expected for the next program 2014-2020 at affordable cost. The project lasts from September 2014 to August 2017 with a budget of 1.437.000 euro where 1.000.000 euro is funded by the Seventh Framework Programme within the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU).
It is widely accepted that job opportunities for technicians and workers will arise in the short term for FC&H2 applications, at the same time there is a lack of training offers for technicians fitting companies’ needs. With regard to the existing training offers, which does not respond to these profiles, which are focusing at post-graduate level (researchers and engineers) and do not respond to the technicians and workers training needs.
