The annual Energy Storage and Energy Conversions event is being run in conjunction between the Scottish Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Association the Energy Technology Partnership with support from Scottish Renewables on Tuesday 22nd March 2016 in St Andrews, and this year is being hosted in a new venue by the University of St Andrews School of Chemistry, in the Purdie Building, St Andrews, KY16 9ST. Alongside the ambitious CO2 reduction target, the Scottish Government has identified energy storage as an important technology for supporting renewables to achieve this aspiration in their Renewables Action Plan. In this programme an overview of the strides being made both by academia and industry will be presented to support this ambition ranging from transport applications to heat storage.
