13 km from the sea resort with the most difficult to pronounce name of Scheveningen the old oil drill platform Q13a owned by Neptune Energy was the first oil platform that has been fully electrified. On this platform teh new Dutch public enetity that should decommission these platforms NextStep will now install a 1 MW eletrolyzer to produce hydrogen for energy production off shore. The electrlyzer is the first off shore installation.
