The Toyota Mirai is a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, one of the first hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles to be sold commercially. The Mirai was unveiled at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. The Mirai uses the Toyota Fuel Cell System (TFCS), which features both fuel cell technology and hybrid technology, and includes proprietary Toyota-developed components including the fuel cell (FC) stack, FC boost converter, and high-pressure hydrogen tanks. The TFCS is more energy-efficient than internal combustion engines and emits no CO 2 at the point of operation or substances of concern (SOCs) when driven.

Mirai will come to the USA in October. It is expected to be a small-volume vehicle, another chance to get closer to a mainstream hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle that has no emissions other than water vapor. http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/cars/2015/01/25/toyota-fuel-cell-mirai/22308863/
