An International Conference on Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Buses which will take place in Hamburg on 16 and 17 October 2013 and will facilitate an extensive exchange of experiences and future roll out. The conference will follow the next regular meeting of the HyER CHIC project and will host discussion of fuel cell bus introduction strategies across a range of international partners.
The workshop will illustrate successful activities by the US Department of Transportation, Department of Energy, the European Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking programs as well as the German NIP (National Innovation Programme for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology). Panels of fuel cell bus operators, industry, and policy makers will provide a comprehensive overview on the status of hydrogen technologies in the transit industry and the operational advantages of fuel cell buses.
The CTC Network promotes the accelerated transfer of environmentally sound technologies for low carbon and climate resilient development at the request of developing countries.
