The Scottish Cities Alliance (a partnership between seven Scotland’s cities: Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Perth and Stirling) commits to continue working together for the next four years on their Smart Cities and Hydrogen agenda.
The alliance together with Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH-JU) work on commercialisation of hydrogen refuelling infrastructure and deployment of hydrogen fuel cell buses. For the near future this includes further 10 hydrogen fuel cell buses joining the fleet of Aberdeen in 2018 under Joint Initiative for Hydrogen Vehicles Across Europe (JIVE) and 12 fuel cell buses in Dundee in 2019 under JIVE 2.
