American fuel reformer manufacturer Element One (e1) has announced the commencement of deliveries of its new H-Series fuel reforming hydrogen generators. The H-Series models supersede the company’s first generation Pegasus model and will be sold in three capacities: H13, H35 and H65, meeting the hydrogen flow requirements of 1 to 5 kW PEMFC. The new products are the result of a year of testing new technologies, design refinement which has led to a reduction in the complexity and cost of the systems. These efforts allow for more efficient system manufacturing, easier system maintenance and significantly reduced operating costs for the end user, the company claims. A typical target user would be a telecom operator; e1’s solution allows for on-site hydrogen production from a methanol/water input at telecoms sites and other UPS applications.
