At the 10th Annual conference of the Dutch Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association NWBA, the EHA chairman and UK Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Association director, Ian Williamson received the Erik Middelman Innovation Award 2014 for his engagement in hydrogen and fuel cell development . The Erik Middelman Innovation Award honour the memory of Erik Middelman the legendary CEO of Nedstack one of the first Dutch fuel cell component companies working on fuel cell stack development who died and a young age a few years ago. The NWBA conference theme ““Market Introduction of Hydrogen and Fuel Cells – the State of Play -” was addressed by Mercedes Benz Netherlands director who outlined the Daimler F-CELL roll out history and plans for market introduction around 2017 based on the availability of refuelling stations.
