EHA and HyRAMP teamed up to ensure the presence of national and local hydrogen and fuel cell developments at the Hanover Fair that was inaugurated by Chancellor Merkel on April 3, 2011. France is the featured countryat the fair  this year and at the FC and H2 Group Exhibit a presentation of Axel Strang,  the green technologies policy advisor of the French directorate for energy and Climate Change announced a a call for fuel cell transport applications that will come out in the next few months. The EHA and HyER (formerly HyRaMP) presented the FCH JU projects for which they facilitate the dissemination, the large scale fuel cell hybrid bus demo project CHIC, the fuel cell forklift projects, SHEL and HyLift Demo, the Life Cycle Assessment project HyGuide, the project HyFacts, developing training material for authorisation officials and HyProfessionals that is putting together educational programmes and training initiatives for use throughout Europe. The picture features Toyota Motor Europe senior external affairs manager, Bernhard Gruenewald, at this year’s Hanover Drive and Ride that also features Daimler, GM, Volkswagen and Honda fuel cell vehicles next to battery powered cars. The FC and H2 Group Exhibit 2011 expanded to 4000 sqm form 3000 last year featuring more than 120 exhibitors.
