On March 22, 2019 the director of Fuel Management els de Wit of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Watermanagement gathered a full house of the crème de la crème of Dutch fuel prodcution and distribution to discuss the next steps in defining their new alternative fuel strategy. A convenat to green garbage trucks was signed by public and private stakeholders(see photo)
A session on infrastructure planning presented status on the Dutch ambitiosn regarding the Alternative fuels Infrastrucutre Directive in which the FCEV ambitions for 2030 were laid out that are included in the Dutch Climate Agreement : 50 stations (thsi is 30 more than in theier AFID national policy plan, 15.000 FCEV-personenauto’s en 3.000 trucks in 2025, towards 300.000 FCEV in 2030. By 2025 all 5000 public transport buses need to be zero emission.
