Australian residential SOFC manufacturer Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited (CFCL) has received an order for 100 of its BlueGen gas-to-electricity generators from its Netherlands distributor Zestiq B.V. for delivery over the next twelve months.
Zestiq, who were appointed as a BlueGen distributor in July, will market and sell the units to small commercial and residential customers. Units will be installed and maintained by Eneco Installatie Bedrijven, the service subsidiary of Dutch energy supplier Eneco.
BlueGen is the first fuel cell to be officially accredited by the UK’s Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) for use in the feed-in tariff scheme.
