The Annual Meeting of the Hydrogen Network North Rhine Westfalia will take place December 7, 2011.
Presentations will examine, the region of North Rhine-Westphalia activities in the expansion of renewable energies and the associated consequences for networks and how storage of energy increasingly plays a major role. The Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Network NRW utilizes excessive wind energy to save in the form of hydrogen with the aim to Buffer the fluctuations in energy supply, the production, and consumption of electrical energy. The hydrogen can then be used as a clean fuel the transport sector. Fuel cell buses within projects funded by NRW, are currently in progress and successfully running in Hurth. During the annual meeting participants will have the opportunity to test ride the hydrogen bus.
During the meeting, presentations will also examine the NRW incentive programs for cogeneration, the basic features, and the current projects in the field of CHP, electricmobility, and energy storage using hydrogen and fuel cells.
