The WHEC 2014 in Seoul, Korea, held the beginning of June, kicked off a series of announcements on hydrogen refuelling station infrastructure and stationary fuel cell deployment in Asia. The Korean HRS build up will reach 43 stations in 2015 while Hyundai is building commercial models since one year. Ian Williamson, CEO of AFC Energy and EHA president, delivered a keynote speech providing a European perspective on the fuel cell sector and use the opportunity to deliver an overview of AFC Energy. He also presented recent developments in fuel cell technologies in Europe and highlight the support schemes available to the industry there through a discussion of the Company’s key technical demonstration – the Power Up project.
