Starting 50 years ago without heating in its offices and laboratories, Benoit Potier, president of Air Liquide, presented at Air Liquide’s Advanced Technology golden anniversary in Sassenage, Grenoble, the company’s efforts to contribute to the world’s new energy and materials challenges.  In the presence of the French minister of Education and Research, Geneviève Fiorosi, he stressed Air Liquide’s aim to stay “focused and audacious”. The event offered a Drive and Ride in Daimlers F-CELL and Opel’s Hydrogen4 vehicles. Air Liquide showcased its mobile station the same week at the Drive and Ride at the EU Parliament in Strasbourg. In Sassenage the group is working on hydrogen refuelling stations as well as stationary and portable micro fuel cells.
