The series of events started as the dissemination activity of the FP6 Integrated Project LargeSOFC, led by VTT in Finland. A strong emphasis therefore has always been put on high temperature fuel cells and especially SOFC technology for stationary applications. The workshop, nevertheless, has also had contributions from PEFC, electrolyser, and transport applications.

The main interest and motivation for the workshop is enabling exchange of information, state of the art, best practice, and novel developments on experiences from operating fuel cell systems, balance of plant components, operating strategies, lifetime and durability, and market development.

Participants will benefit from informal exchange between attendees, ample time for detailed discussions, technical insights, and access to some of the best worldwide knowledge in fuel cell systems.
