100% renewable targets will require power storage to manage flows on the net
Electrolysers utilise these intermittent power flows to produce H2 gas from water
H2 gas can be stored in large quantities underground and transported via existing gas pipelines
H2 vehicles recharge faster and are more durable than battery powered transport
Growing H2 demand in industrial processes will reduce costs and increase supply
When: 21 February, 2011   Where: Europa Hotel, Belfast, UK

The IC-SES is an International Conference on Sustainable Energy Storage which will take place from 21 – 24 February 2011 in the Europa Hotel, Belfast, UK.

The conference will provide a forum for researchers to present original work, exchange ideas and develop new ideas on energy storage and infrastructure planning for energy storage in the future.

It is expected that the conference will be attended by up to 300 participants, from regional and international institutions including universities, businesses and innovation companies specialising in this field.
