100% renewable targets will require power storage to manage flows on the net
Electrolysers utilise these intermittent power flows to produce H2 gas from water
H2 gas can be stored in large quantities underground and transported via existing gas pipelines
H2 vehicles recharge faster and are more durable than battery powered transport
Growing H2 demand in industrial processes will reduce costs and increase supply
When: 9 July, 2017

The 7th Hydrogen Technology Convention will be held together with the Czech Hydrogen Days 2017. The congress held the auspices of the International Association for Hydrogen Energy (IAHE) will be held on July 9th to 12th 2017 at the Prague Congress Centre, Prague, Czech Republic.

The aim of the congress is to offer a unique opportunity for sharing well-selected aspects on the latest evidence-based research findings and applications.
The academic, scientific, corporate and general audience will surely find their interests in the rich congress programme. We expect more than 600 participants and more than 20 invited speakers.

The congress theme, “The Future Might Be Closer Than You Think“, recognises that a clear trend is emerging towards the integration of renewable energy and hydrogen technology as a key enabling pathway towards 100 % renewable energy systems. An important part of the congress will be the exhibition of existing industrial solutions.
