100% renewable targets will require power storage to manage flows on the net
Electrolysers utilise these intermittent power flows to produce H2 gas from water
H2 gas can be stored in large quantities underground and transported via existing gas pipelines
H2 vehicles recharge faster and are more durable than battery powered transport
Growing H2 demand in industrial processes will reduce costs and increase supply

On December 14-16 2011,  the 4th European Fuel Cell Technology & Applications Piero Lunghi Conference and Exhibition will take place in Rome Italy.

This year’s conference edition will hold a series of scientific sessions and leading researchers and scientists  are invited to come from all over the world. The submission of abstracts of is now open until the 1st of April 2011.

Authors are invited to submit abstracts on the following topics (illustrative of the program but not exhaustive):
· Materials and Fabrication Processes
· Cell, Stack, System Modeling
· System and Balance of Plant Design and Optimization
· Lab and Field Tests and Market or Real‐life Applications
· Fuel Processing and Non-Conventional Fuels

· New ideas, Non‐conventional Fuel Cells and Niche Applications
· Technical-Economical and Environmental  analysis
· Policy and Cross-cutting on Fuel Cells

Please note that a variety of sessions are available for presentations as it allows flexibility to the authors. All sessions are quality driven.

All abstracts must be submitted and be received on or before 1 April, 2011.
