100% renewable targets will require power storage to manage flows on the net

H2 gas can be stored in large quantities underground and transported via existing gas pipelines
H2 vehicles recharge faster and are more durable than battery powered transport
Growing H2 demand in industrial processes will reduce costs and increase supply

The International Panel on Climate Change IPCC, published its synthesis Fifth Assessment report, at the 40th session in Copenhagen  on October 30. The report states that fossil fuels without carbon capture and should should be stopped by 2100, if the world wants to avoid climate change and the world’s electricity must be produced from low-carbon sources by 2050. According to the report is economically affordable that carbon emissions will ultimately have to fall to zero. The global poverty can only be reduced by halting global warming.

The report makes clear that carbon emissions, mainly from burning coal, oil and gas, are currently rising to record level; not falling. Furthermore it expresses that emissions of greenhouse gases will impact the climate change and natural world.  The EU commitments to bring down carbon emissions in Europe by 40 percent by 2030 are . According to Prof. Myles Allen from the University of Oxford, member of the IPCC writing team; “If we can’t develop carbon capture we will have to stop using fossil fuels, if we want to stop a dangerous climate change.”. Climate change is already having an impact around the world through rising temperature, shifts in extreme weather, ice sheets and advancing sea levels.
