MR presented the report on the Action Plan 2006, pointing out the EU dossiers that the EHA has followed in 2006. Support for hydrogen is not yet overwhelming in all Directorates General of the EU Commission.
Therefore EHA lobbying efforts focussed not only on DG Rersearch and JTI but also on DGTREN and
the Intelligent Energy for Europe programme to promote the integration of the use of hydrogen in EU
Energy and Transport policy and funding programmes as Intelligent Energy for Europe (IEE) programmes. A
Taskforce Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET Plan) was established to support the EHA contribution
to this Commission’s initiative.
