The <\/span><\/strong>target group were unemployed <\/span><\/strong>engineers.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The teaching modules\u00a0developed in the frame of the EU project are <\/span><\/strong>singular at the moment <\/span><\/strong>which means that they are currently used in <\/span><\/strong>pilot actions and <\/span><\/strong>individual seminars. They are not standardized by an <\/span><\/strong>accreditation body and <\/span><\/strong>implemented in a professional or academic <\/span><\/strong>curricula.Due to the <\/span><\/strong>different educational systems in the European <\/span><\/strong>countries (Compare <\/span><\/strong>Deliverable 2) the accreditation of the teaching <\/span><\/strong>materials was not the <\/span><\/strong>aim of the project. In coordination with the <\/span><\/strong>different responsible <\/span><\/strong>bodies each EU country has to define its own way <\/span><\/strong>of implementing the <\/span><\/strong>topic in existing curricula. For this ‘implementation <\/span><\/strong>process’ the results <\/span><\/strong>of this procect can give important hints which <\/span><\/strong>topics could be <\/span><\/strong>considered in existing curricula<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n

The HySAFER centre at the University\u00a0of Ulster focuses on the area of hydrogen safety and the phenomena associated\u00a0with potential hydrogen accidents (leaks, explosions, fires etc.). In\u00a0addition to research, the centre is actively involved in the development of\u00a0education programmes in hydrogen safety, including short courses. The\u00a0research activities of HySAFER range from fundamental work to ground breaking\u00a0applications and primarily include computer simulations, and consequence\u00a0modelling, of potential accident scenarios.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n
