The FCH JU -funded project KnowHy, carried out a by a consortium of experienced partners in fuel cells and hydrogen technology all over Europe, has developed a training course in the FC&H2 field for technicians with at least 2 years of hands-on experience or a technical diploma/certificate. The course is easily accessible from home or the workplace in different Countries in mother tongue languages through an interactive e-learning platform providing teaching materials, tutoring and serious games. After the on-line lesson, a practical training at demo facilities to experience the acquired knowledge will complement the course. The training lasts 100 hours divided in 40 hours of a core module providing an overview on fuel cells and hydrogen fundamentals and 60 hours of a specialisation module to be chosen between the following market roll-out applications selected according to a market research and a survey among industrial stakeholders: Automotive and Material Handling Sector; Hydrogen Production and Handling; Micro Fuel Cells; CHP and microCHP; Fuel Cell based Generators (APU and Backup Power).

The first running of the courses is going to start in September 2016 in the following Countries. The course cost normally varies based on the country and the fee waivers available at the time of the course.  For this first call, in some countries, courses are available with full fee waivers. The EHA is supporting the dissemination of the project to attract the first students this September
