International Advanced Mobility Forum

The International Advanced Mobility Forum takes place for the fourth time in 2011 alongside the Geneva International Motor Show in order to create most favourable synergies. The scientific and public forum brings together scientists and key actors from the motor industry to discuss individual mobility today and tomorrow.

The International Advanced Mobility Forum (IAMF) is organized by GENEVA PALEXPO, the association e’mobile, the Competence Center for Energy and Mobility (CCEM) of Paul Scherrer Institut, Gasmobil AG and Euresearch.

The forum is supported by the International Energy Agency (IEA), the Swiss Energy Council, auto-schweiz, FISITA, the Union Pétrolière, the Geneva International Motor Show and other partners.

IAMF 2011: Outlook – Technologies and infrastructures for efficient vehicles and their implication

The 4th edition of IAMF will be centered on the following questions:

-Advanced powertrain and vehicle technologies

-On board energy storage (batteries, compressed gases and liquid fuels) and supply infrastructures (CNG, LPG, Ethanol, Electricity, H2)

-Marketing aspects of new technologies and consequences of new powertrain solutions

Through scientific presentations, discussions and round tables, IAMF’s objectives are to:

-Analyse the present situation and future development of technological solutions

-Create the opportunity to exchange information on future mobility and encourage the entry of alternative vehicles into the transportation marketplace

-Allow the audience discovering existing solutions
