EHA Annual General Meeting 21 June 2012

The EHA  will host its 12th Annual General Meeting on  June 21, 2012 from 12:30 till 14:30 at the Palais des Academies, Rue Ducale ,  Brussels.
The AGM will be part of a full day of updates on the latest developments of Europe’s main FCEV demo projects, FC in local energy networks and presentations on the latest educational programs as part of the EU Sustainable Energy Week Program. “Let hydrogen move you!” in the latest FCEV and BEV in the  Drive & Ride that will provided throughout the day. The EHA is organsing event in collabration with HyER and the FCH JU Program Office
At 17:00 a press conference and cocktail is planned to inaugurate the Clean Mobility Partnership of the EU Sustainable Energy Week (www.eusew.eu) that the EHA facilitated with Avere.

LA Auto Show

The LA Auto Show is an annual auto show held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in late November/early December.   

Zero Rally 2012 for Hydrogen Vehicles

A rally for battery electric, plug in hybrid, bio-powered and hydrogen vehicles will take place on 14-16 June 2012.  The Zero Rally will run along the Green Highway between Sweden and Trondheim in Norway.
The collaboration between Zero Rally and Green Highway will demonstrate that practical transportation is possible without fossil fuels. Einar Håndlykken, CEO of the environmental organisation ZERO which organises the rally, says it is a unique opportunity for climate-friendly car enthusiasts to show their own skills and the performance of their vehicles in a challenging competition with professional rally drivers.

Nordic Transport Conference (Nordisk Lokaltrafikk Møte) 2012

The Nordic Transport Conference (Nordisk Lokaltrafikk Møte) will take place in Copenhagen 13-15. June 2012. More information to be updated on this event soon!  

HYDROGEN ENERGY FOR LIFE-A European Conference on Hydrogen Economy & Production Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH)

The International Conference “Hydrogen Energy for Life” on renewable hydrogen production will be held in Thessaloniki (Greece) on 24 May, 2012. This event is funded by the  LIFE+ BIOFUELS-2G project (www. biofuels2g.gr). A key component of the BIOFUELS2G project is the implementation of a hydrolytic solar hydrogen production unit, which was designed and constructed by CERTH to demonstrate the potential of employing renewable hydrogen to increase the sustainability of 2nd generation biofuel production. Driven by this incentive, the H2Life conference aims to: Highlight promising R&D activities in the fields of renewable hydrogen production Outline recent demonstration projects highlighting hydrogen production  Promote networking between academic and industrial stakeholders Initiate PrivatePublic Partnerships (PPPs).   The tentative agenda includes:  LIFE program Open Day presentation  Biofuels2G Project presentation R&D – Demo Projects presentations on the hydrogen economy and production During the event a tour of the hydrogen production site will be held with a live demonstration of the Biofuels2G production process. This event is employed as 20th year anniversary event of LIFE program. Daimler to host debate on Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology, EU Parliament, 28 February 2012

Daimler will host an informative debate  on the Future of Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Commercialisation on 28 February 2012 at the European Parliament.  The debate will be chaired  by Professor Vladko Panayotov MEP with guest speaker Dr Jorg Wind, Strategic Energys Project and Market Development , Daimler AG. The debate will be moderated by Ian Williamson, president of the European Hydrogen Association (EHA). The event will take place in the Members Salon from 12.30-2.30pm  

International Workshop on Hydrogen 2012

The fourth International Workshop on Hydrogen (IWH ‘2012) is organized by the “Micro Electro Thermal Systems (METS)” Research Unit in the National Engineering School of Sfax (ENIS) and the “Preparatory Institute of Engineering Studies (IPEIS) in collaboration with General Energy and Environment Engineering Society (GEEE), under the auspices of the International Association for Hydrogen Energy (IAHE). The event will take place March 21-23 2012 in Sousse, Tunisia. The objective of the Workshop is to provide technical and scientific information on Hydrogen and Fuel Cell systems to the scientific and industrial community at large.  This event will be best opportunity to give a comprehensive overview of fuel cell and hydrogen activities in the Maghreb countries (Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Libya,..) and to establish and strengthen a collaborative and partnership network within this field with international institutions and business leaders in the industry.
