The FCH JU co-funded project HyResponse ”European Hydrogen Emergency Response Training Program for First Responders” has been completed and the results will be presented during the final HyResponse workshop on 15 September 2016 at ENSOSP (cole Nationale Superieure des Officiers de Sapeurs-Pompiers), Aix-en-Provence, France. The HyResponse project has developed the first comprehensive training programme for first responders for hydrogen applications. Three pilot training sessions, five days each, took place within the timeframe of the project. 92 participants have joined the training sessions from Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom and the United States

Recently, HyResponse has been presented at the International Association of Fire and Rescue Service (CTIF) Delegats’ Assembly 2016 in Helsinki. A presentation is also foreseen will at the World of Energy Solutions Conference, October 10 – 12,2016, Messe Stuttgart, Germany. The presentation will take place on Friday, 12th of October 2016.
