A consortium of four European expert organizations (Hinicio, ECN, TÜV SÜD and LBST) have joined forces in the project CertifHy to develop an ambitious and innovative framework for the generation of guarantees of origin (GoO) for green hydrogen to be implemented in Europe.
CertifHy, funded by the European Commission through the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking, kicked off late 2014 and will present its first findings at the Certifhy Project Launch conference on 23 April in Brussels.
Participants will be introduced to a market outlook for green hydrogen, and will be provided with an overview of existing initiatives and policy instruments to set up Guarantees of Origin (GoOs) systems for green electricity and green gas.
